Douglas Scott Interpretive Design focuses upon creating and fostering meaningful connections to places, people, and their stories. Our aim is to develop intriguing projects through our informed and inclusive approach to interpretive design. We routinely work with informal learning-based institutions like historical societies, community groups,  museums, and environmental and governmental organizations where storytelling is used to communicate information and experiences.

DSID is headed by Douglas Scott, award winning interpretive designer and historic preservationist. Alongside partner firm Hunter Research, Inc, we provide a full range of topic research, theme development, content production, graphic design, interpretive planning, and project management services to our cultural, historical, and natural resources clients.
